Local MP for Warrington South David Mowat, this week welcomed the Chancellor's announcement of a £113 million investment in the Hartree Centre based at Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus.
The Hartree Centre specialises in high performance computing and super-computing and has worked with organisations such as the Met Office, Jaguar Land Rover and United Utilities. The grant will go to a Cognitive Computing Research Centre which will specialise in working with Big Data.Read more
