Getting Warrington Back to Work

David Mowat founded the Jobs Club in April of 2009 and it has now completed its 12th season. Over 200 people in Warrington have now benefited from the club and more than two thirds of those attending have subsequently found a job, started their own business or gone back into a training course.

HS2 - The Wigan Spur

Whilst David supports the concept of building a new High Speed line from London to Manchester, he is concerned about the section of track linking High Legh and Wigan. David is now campaigning to have the so-called "Wigan Spur" removed from the overall plans for Phase 2 of HS2.

Better Broadband

UPDATE: Excellent News! BT have confirmed that both the Exchanges that serve Chapelford and Whittle Hall will be upgraded by the end of 2014. This will mean residents will be able to access Superfast Broadband by the end of this year!
